Can you feel the festive cheer in the air? It’s already well into the holiday season after the Water Festival, and we have some exciting news for our community. Christmas @ Raintree is back for an even bigger second edition after the blast we had last year! We often get asked why we have this event, and why we even celebrate Christmas at all in Cambodia?! Although Team Raintree likes any excuse to party, there is a real reason. Raintree aspires to build a creative, collaborative professional community - that means we work and play together. We turn our rooftop into a veritable Christmas explosion including food, music and a pop-up market that features a handpicked selection of our favourite Khmer products and entrepreneurs. It’s the one time of the year where we bring together absolutely everyone from our wider community - partners, tenants, friends and family (including the kids!).
This year we have two awesome partners to bring you an even more special curation of pop-up vendors. Invade are creators of immersive experiences in the region, bringing to life the massive ARTBOX Malaysia and Fleawhere markets in Singapore. They are curating some of their favourite makers all the way from Singapore and Thailand, to bring us even more gifting possibilities, plus a chance for us to connect with some dynamic regional entrepreneurs. CULT, the Kingdom’s sustainable marketplace, have been hosting Phnom Penh pop-up markets for the conscious customer since 2016. They will be bringing some of their most creative and ethical vendors. To get you all excited, take a look a featured selection of artisans below (more to be announced next week!).
Look forward to celebrating with everyone this December!
