In this annual workshop, iDE Cambodia invites key players in the Cambodian energy sector for 2 days to review progress and outline future plans for their Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) project. A five-year programme funded by UK Aid, MECS aims to break out of a “business-as-usual” cycle by investigating how to rapidly accelerate a transition from biomass to ‘clean’ cooking (i.e. with electricity).
The workshop will also see presentations on drivers and barriers in adopting modern energy cooking in the country as well as proposed solutions to tackle them.
