With 90% of jobs worldwide having a digital component, technology presents immense opportunities to advance women's roles in society and the workplace. However, women and other marginalised groups often face barriers to accessing and using these technologies, leading to a widening of the digital divide. This divide can have significant consequences, including reduced access to education, healthcare, and job opportunities.

In this edition of Tech Tuesday, Amcham is hosting a panel discussion featuring panel discussions with leading experts in the field of digital inclusion, including representatives from government, civil society, and the private sector. The discussions will focus on ways to increase digital literacy among women and other marginalised groups, and strategies for bridging the digital divide. The speakers include H.E. Chea Ratha, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI); Ms. Hannah Najar, Regional Program Manager at Go Digital ASEAN, The Asia Foundation; Ms. Ivana Tranchini, Country Manager at Visa; and Mr. Manu Rajan, Division CEO at Wing.
