The purpose program is to develop mutual understanding between the United States and Cambodia by connecting American film experts with Cambodian filmmakers and youth through screenings, workshops, and panel discussions on topics related to the themes of the movie. Working with 50 U.S. Embassies each year, AFS brings award-winning contemporary American documentaries, independent narrative films, and storytelling know-how to audiences around the world.
