REMIX workshops empower emerging leaders, change-makers and creatives throughout Southeast Asia just like you, and equips them to be ‘story-listeners’ as well as story-tellers, brought to you by the innovative School of Slow Media (SoSM).
REMIX Phnom Penh is an intensive, hands-on 3-day mindful media lab that will equip you with tangible media-making skills and tools for empathy building. Unlike the typical workshop, during REMIX you and other participants will hit the streets to film everyday stories. You will plan, film and edit powerful mini-docs using human-centred storytelling—a methodology where mindfulness, peaceful dialogue and design thinking are essential parts of the process. You will learn skills in conceptualising a story, building empathy, interviewing, filming, editing, and teamwork.
The School of Slow Media methodology of pause, play, and record, is a unique artistic and leadership approach where mindfulness and listening are essential parts in the craft of storytelling.
